Edna Pauline Whiet Reedy

Reedy, Edna White, age 95, of Knoxville passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2010. She was a lifetime member of Island Home Baptist Church, where she was also a member of The Lee Sanders’ Sunday School Class. She was also a past member of Holston Hills Garden Club. She worked for several years for GOODALL Clothing. Preceded in death by parents, Adrian and Josie White; husband, James E. “Buck” Reedy. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, James Michael and Celeste Reedy; grandchildren and spouse, Andrew Lee and Shannon Reedy and James Preston Reedy; sisters, Dorothy Melton and Margaret Wilson; special son, James Sawyer. The service will be on Saturday, August 7, 2010, in the chapel of Berry funeral Home, at 7:00 p.m., with Rev. Jason Littlejohn officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., prior to the service. Family and friends will meet on Monday, August 9, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., for the interment at Highland Memorial Park. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons of Island Home Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Island Home Baptist Church, 2323 Island Home Ave., Knoxville, TN 37920.
