Eileen Rose Harris born on January 27, 1927 passed away on Wednesday July 29, 2015 at age 88 in Winston Salem, N.C. She was so dearly loved and will be missed by those she leaves behind. Eileen was preceded in death by her husband Wesley of 64 years. They were married in Dayton Ohio where they raised their children and then moved to Tennessee. In Tennessee she became the Director of The Michael Dunn Center in Roane County and later founded Omni Visions, whose mission was to serve the children of Tennessee. Those who were fortunate to work with Eileen knew her passion and commitment to the families that she served. Her dedication transformed the lives of some the most vulnerable children of our state. Her family knew this love, which was often shared over warm meals, red roses and the Tennessee Waltz. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Also Eileen was preceded in death by her son Mark and is survived by sister Jean “Babe” Sanders, granddaughters Meggan (Scott) Goodpasture, Jessica (Avery) Telligman, Heather Harris, Lacey Harris and daughter-in-law Audrey Supman. She took joy in her great grandchildren, Elliot, Jon Beckett, Henry and Benton. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:30am to 11:30am with Memorial Service to follow at 11:30am at Berry HIGHLAND MEMORIAL, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN, 37919. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Omni Visions, 4709 Papermill Dr. NW, Suite 103, Knoxville, TN 37909. Friends may leave their condolences at www.highland memorialknoxvill.com
