Elisabeth Wohlwend

Wohlwend, Elisabeth Rauner, born March 25, 1922 in Plattling, Germany, passed away at home on February 12, 2013. She was preceded in death by husband, Carl, in 2010; parents, Michael & Elisabeth Rauner; brothers, Joseph and Rudolph; half-sister, Anni; and great-granddaughter, Taylor. Elisabeth is survived by son, Joe; daughter and son-in-law, Judy & Eddie Asbury; daughter, Cindy; grandchildren, Jeff Wohlwend & Michelle & Brian Callahan; step-grandchildren, Shane & Brock Asbury; great-grandchildren, Carly & Audrey. Thanks to U.T. Hospice for their care during her last weeks, and special thanks to caregiver, Jane Powers, for her compassion and loving care over the last 8 months; also gratitude to Harlene Young for her friendship over the years and assistance during Elisabeth’s final weeks. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Crye officiating.
