Frances Fowler, age 81, of South Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord on May 14, 2018. Frances joined Sevier Heights Baptist Church in 1956 and was active in the Celebration Choir where she enjoyed singing in the Living Christmas Tree. She was a graduate of Halls High School Class of 1954 and after graduation enrolled and graduated from Knoxville Business College. Frances was employed as a bookkeeper with Manufacturers Acceptance Corporation for over 50 years. Preceded in death by parents, Clyde Virgil Fowler and Nora Jane Whaley Fowler; brothers, Bernard, Curtis, Thurman and George Fowler; nieces, Kimberly Prince and Angela Fowler; nephews, Stanley and Jeffery Fowler; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth, Ruth and Patricia Fowler; brother-in-law, Don Glandon. She is survived by sisters, Wanda Glandon and Margaret(Bill) Prince; brothers, Herman, Martin and Marvin(Ann) Fowler and a host of nieces and nephews including Debbie Chadwick who provided Frances with loving care. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Thursday, May 17, 2018 with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7 pm in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway. Rev. Charlie McNutt and Rev. Don Wilson officiating. Family and friends will meet at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery, Sutherland Avenue on Friday, May 18, 2018 for an 11 am graveside service.
