Fred Leland Rose, age 57, of South Knoxville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 13, 2021. Fred was a 1982 graduate of Doyle High School and earned a bachelors degree in electronics. He was an active member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church for twenty-five years. Fred was employed with GE Healthcare for twenty-two years and worked side by side with his father at Charles Rose and Associates until 1998. His biggest love and joy in life was his wife and kids. Preceded in death by father, Charles Rose and mother Lois Rose; Mamaw and Papaw Dessie and Joe Reed.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Karen Johnson Rose; daughter, Kelsey Rose; son, Tyler Rose and daughter-in-law, Staci; daughter, Lily Rose; brother, Steve Rose; sisters, Carla and husband, Wayne Smith, Gail and husband, Phil Vittetoe; Cindy and husband, Gary Smith; several nieces and nephews
The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday, July 19, 2021 at Sevier Heights Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7 pm.Family and friends will meet at Stock Creek Cemetery Tuesday, July 20, 2021 for an 11 am graveside service.Memorials may be made to Maryville Christian School, 2525 Morganton Road, Maryville, TN 37801.
