Cooper, Freda Mae, age 82 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 at U.T. Hospital. She was a longtime member of Vestal United Methodist Church, and was a certified professional secretary with 41 years combined government service with T.V.A. and Office of Surface Mining. She was preceded in death by her husband; William A. Cooper and son; William David Cooper. She is survived by her sons; Philip Cooper and Perry Cooper and daughter; Rosemary Garland. Son-in-law; Mike Garland, and beloved grandson; Brock Cooper Garland. Sisters-in-law; Dorothy Manning and Eleanor Dew and brother-in-law Carl Dew. Family will receive friends Sunday 4-6 PM at Berry Funeral Home, funeral services to follow at 6 PM. Rev. Wendell Smith officiating. Graveside interment Monday 11 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery.
