Gary was a devoted husband, proud father, and loyal friend. He had a larger-than-life personality and a heart full of love. He was passionate about football — especially cheering on his favorite teams, the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints. He loved the beach, where he found peace and joy, and was an avid collector of watches. Music was a constant in his life, with a special love for Jimmy Buffett and jazz. Whether he was listening to his favorite tunes or soaking up the sun by the ocean, Gary embraced the simple joys of life and shared that spirit with everyone around him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 28 years, Shannon Keisling, and his mother, Brenda Keisling.
Gary will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Shania Pehlke and Briana Cole (Schylar); father, Jerry Keisling; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his cherished friends: Mikey and Crystal Rogers, Tory and Kristy Flenniken
Family and friends will gather on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home Chapel, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN. Online condolences and fond memories may be shared with the Keisling family at www.berryfuneralhome.com
