Gary "Posie" Lynn Moore

He was born August 6, 1948.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Posie and Delilah Moore.

Gary is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Latham; brothers, Wayne (Peggy) Moore, Gene (Shelba) Moore, and Hugh Clark (Debbie) Moore; former wife and friend Kay Wilcox; stepson Ronnie Morris, who was very helpful to Gary during his extended illness; several nieces and nephews; and special friends.

Gary loved his family and shared a special love with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed having breakfast at White Star Market with his Breakfast Buddies, especially Billy Oliver. Gary enjoyed being with his friends at the Hardware. After retirement he worked as a Ranger at the Sevierville Golf Club where he also enjoyed playing golf with his friends, especially with his brother Wayne.

A visitation for Gary will be held Friday, August 18, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Berry Highland South, 9010 Simpson Rd, TN 37920. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM officiated by Larry Simonds and Richard Montgomery. Graveside service will occur Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM, 9010 Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920 officiated by Ron French.
