Georgia Elizabeth Davis Smith

Smith, Georgia Elizabeth, age 87, of Knoxville, passed away January 11, 2013 at Shannondale Healthcare Center. Georgia was a member of Bon View Baptist Church and worked at the Knoxville Rehab Center for many years and the Knox County School system. Preceded in death by husbands; James E. Smith and Albert C. Smith. Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Allen McMichael, Nancy and Harvey Harmon; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Marie Smith; grandchildren, Teresa and husband Robert LaDage, Jeffrey and Valerie McMichael, Robin and Sam Brandon, Gregory and Jennifer McMichael, Cindy and Scott Key, Christy and Dave Hayden; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Charlsie Jones. The family would like to thank the 5th floor staff and the many friends Georgia made during her time at Shannondale for their love and support. Family will receive friends 3-5 PM Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy. Family and friends will meet at Highland Memorial Cemetery, 5315 Kingston Pike, for an 11:00 AM graveside service Monday, January 14, 2013, Rev. Harvey Harmon officiating.
