Glen "Randall" Courtney, age 80, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on October 22, 2025. He was born on September 5, 1945, in Rogersville, Tennessee, to the late R.W. and Edna Courtney.
Randall was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, several aunts and uncles, and his Niece, Tabby. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; daughter, Melissa Wilkerson (Matt); stepson, Todd Hamilton (Misty); brother, Bill Ray Courtney (Patsy); sister, Lisa Weaver (Tony); grandchildren, Matthew Wilkerson, Chase Hamilton (Emani), and Cheyene; and several great-grandchildren.
Randall graduated from Cherokee High School in 1963 before proudly serving his country in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Korea. He was a devoted member of North Acres Baptist Church in Knoxville.
A skilled mechanic, Randall worked on big rig trucks and later advanced to managing both drivers and mechanics. He was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and willingness to help anyone in need. Those who knew Randall remember him as a hard worker, a loving family man, and a true friend.
Family and friends will meet at 12:15 pm Friday at the East TN State Veterans for a graveside service at 12:30 pm.
