Harold Dale Ward, a devoted and generous man, passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on July 11, 1943, in Holcomb, Missouri, Harold lived a life marked by wisdom, patience, and honesty. He was a resident of Maryville, Tennessee.
In his early years, Harold picked cotton as a young man, demonstrating a strong work ethic that would define his life. He served his country with distinction in the U.S. Air Force and later pursued a career as a salesman for Commercial Hydraulics.
Harold was married to Donna Ward for 43 years, a testament to his commitment and love for his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, leaving behind a legacy of honesty and hard work.
He is survived by his daughter Valeria Graham and her husband Anthony Graham; his grandchildren Vanessa Graham, Anna Graham, Dallas Graham, and Brandon McCall; his great-grandchildren Xavier Graham, Dawson Graham, and Damon Graham; his brothers Bobbie Ward and Donnie Ward and wife Wanda; and his sister Shirley Samples.
Harold loved fishing, cheering for the Lady Vols, and playing golf. He was a man of many interests and passions, which he pursued with dedication and enthusiasm.
A visitation in memory of Harold D. Ward will be held on January 22, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, followed by a funeral service at 7:00 pm. A committal service will take place on January 23, 2026, at 3:00 pm.
Harold will be laid to rest at Berry Highland South Cemetery, located at 9010 E. Simpson Road, Knoxville, Tennessee.
Harold's life was a testament to the values of generosity, devotion, and integrity. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
