Helen Christine Taylor

Taylor, Helen Christine Brooks- 92 years of South Knoxville, passed away at Hillcrest North Friday, October 19, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Robert Taylor; her parents Sarah and George Brooks; sons, Robert David and Richard “Ricky” Taylor. Helen was a member of North Acres Baptist. Helen is survived by children and spouses; George Ella and Robert Krawczyk of Florida, Roy and Karen Taylor of Texas and Linda Ruth and Bob Knight of Knoxville; 10 grandchildren and spouses, including Clayton and Cara Reyniers Knight, Richard David and Laura Wallace Knight, all of Knoxville, 20 great grandchildren, including Ciara and Tia Knight of Knoxville; and 9 great great grandchildren. Helen was a cashier at the Cas Walker’s Chapman Highway Store until it closed. South Knoxville will miss seeing her beautiful flower gardens. She will be missed by many people. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Hillcrest North, 3rd floor, for their loving and compassionate care of our loved one. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, from 5:00-7:00 pm in the chapel prior to the funeral at 7:00 pm.
