

Henry Lee Boseman was born to the late James H. Boseman and Snowbell Agnew Boseman on May 21, 1936 in Belton, South Carolina. The Boseman family moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in the early 1940’s. Henry was the second oldest son, he had three brothers and seven sisters. He attended Maynard Elementary School and Bresley J.R. High School, in Knoxville, Tennessee. This is where he met and married Anita M. (Funches) Boseman out of that marriage were six children. He had eleven siblings. Three brothers, three sisters and one son Gary Lee Boseman preceded in his death.
He worked at V.A. West Roxbury Medical Center, on V.F.W. Parkway, West Roxbury, Massachusetts for many years until he retired. Amongst other jobs he’d worked as a mechanic, carpenter, working inside and outside of houses and fixing small electrical items. He liked keeping busy. He had a passion for hunting, fishing and cooking, during the 50’s and until he became ill. Henry still would go fishing every weekend. He would make sure that he stayed in contact with his family and children no matter where he was. Every holiday and Sundays they would come and eat. It made him happy to see his children during those holidays.
He departed this life on February 16, 2015 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, 72 Francis Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02115, after a lengthy illness.
He leaves to mourn his death; Anita M. Boseman (Wife), five children: Ronald Boseman, wife (Shirley Boseman) of Boston, Massachusetts: Darlene E. Dixson, husband (Robert Dixson) of Knoxville, Tennessee: Ernestine Wyche, husband (Phillip Wyche) of Boston: Christine Boseman of Boston: Anthony Boseman, wife (Karen Noonan Boseman) of Boston and twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great, great, great grandson and four sisters: Neverda Crum, Carolyn (Franklin) Jones, Dorothy Reginald and Mildred Jones. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, a (Special Friend) and Friends.
