Ila Faye Owenby

Ila (Precious) Faye Owenby, 85, went to be with the Lord Thursday September 27, 2018 at her residence. Ila was a member of Island Home Baptist Church for many years. She retired from Bell South after working for over 40 years. She was preceded in death by parents, Emerson and Carrie Cook; infant daughter, Pamela C. Owenby; brothers, Bryan , Earl and Ralph Cook; sisters, Lois Morton and Lena Childress. Ila is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Kristie Owenby of Powell; grandsons, Drake and Hagen Owenby of Powell; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Faye Cook of Chattanooga; sisters and brother-in-law, Beulah Newman of Knoxville and Charlotte and Lowery Sandidge of Lenoir City; special niece, Ginger Sandidge of Knoxville and several nieces, nephews and numerous friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, service will follow at 8:00pm.
