Imogene Jean S Calloway

Imogene S. Calloway, "Jean", age 87, of Knoxville, Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Jean was a member of Central Baptist Bearden. She was a member of Knoxville Eastern Star, Chapter #69. Jean loved her family and enjoyed spending time at the beach, walking along the shore as the sun arose. She was a loving Nana to all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren, where you would find her competitive side, playing putt-putt with her granddaughters.

Jean is preceded in death by her parents; Marion and Fannie Siler; her loving husband, Joe R. Calloway; brothers, Bill, Marion Frances Jr., Howard Siler; sisters, Pauline Siler, Irene Angel, Dorothy Siler, Edna Shepard; daughter; Vicki Javins; grandson, Brian Eugene Javins.

She is survived by her loving daughters; Linda Calloway and Sibby (Larry) Lane; granddaughters, Jeana (Eric) Rogers, Jennifer (Keith) Abernathy, Kori (Matt) Storm; great grandchildren, Scarlett Rogers, Jake and Reed Abernathy, Matthew, Hannah, Ryder and Terra Storm; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her caregiver, Mark Elliott. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 2:00pm at Greenwood Cemetery.
