James Michael Finger

Mike took pride in being a veteran of the United States Air Force and Mason of the Faith Masonic Lodge of Oak Ridge. After retiring from ORNL, Mike was able to focus on his true passion in life, serving his Lord and savior Jesus Christ and leading others to him. As a counselor, active member of Grace Baptist Church, and Pastors Prayer Partner, he enjoyed visiting members in surrounding hospitals and nursing homes.

Mike was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his loving wife, Pat Finger; children, Dana Finger Butler, Denise Finger Winn, Shaun Shanks, and Stacie Shanks; grandchildren, Carlie Butler, Graci Winn, and Charlotte Shanks; and a great-grandson, Kingston Dixon.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Jeff Johnson for all the support and care shown over the years.

The family will receive friends at 4pm on Monday, August 23 at Grace Baptist Church with the service following at 5pm officiated by Pastor Bobby Lewis. The family requests masks be worn.

Family and friends will gather at Oak Ridge Memorial Park at 10:45am on Tuesday, August 24 for an interment at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Grace Baptist Church. Condolences may be left at www.weaverfuneral services.com. ROLL TIDE
