James Hubert (Shorty) Inman, age 73 of Knoxville was called home by his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 28, 2014. He was a member of Kimberlin Heights Church of God. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Pauline Huskey Inman; sons, Randy (Mona) and Doug (Heather) Inman; brothers, David (Ann) and Kenny (Janice) Inman; sisters, Peggy Dyer, Louise Whaley, Dottie Crain, Alice Long and Doris Walker. Preceded in death by his parents, Judd and Emma Inman; sisters, Josie Dunlap, Billie Faye Dixon; brother, R.C. Inman.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy. Knoxville, TN 37920 with funeral services following at 7:00 P.M. with his son and Pastor Rev. Doug Inman officiating. Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Berry Highland South Cemetery, 9010 E. Simpson Rd. Knoxville, TN 37920.
