

Loveday, Janice Loretta (Johnson) – age 75 of Powell Tennessee passed away March 19, 2016 after a long battle with Parkinson disease, surrounded with her family by her side. She attended Bells Campground Baptist Church. Janice worked 47 plus years. Janice was the most compassionate mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Her love for her heavenly father everyone knew. Her greatest enjoyment was her children and grandchildren and her family and friends. Her best quality was her love for God and how she loved everyone. She did not care if she seen you once a day or once a year or even ten years, she loved and prayed for you every day. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Ernest Clyde Johnson and Maggie Marie Johnson, her sister/best friend Barbara Solomon, her Aunt Iva Lee Janeway. Janice is survived by her son Robert (Bobby) and daughter in law Jamie Loveday, her daughter Rebecca (Becky) and son in law James Drewery; grandchildren Robert (Robby) Loveday & Brittany Cates, James (Billy) and Emily Drewery, Skylar Drewery; great grandchildren Ashley Loveday, Leland, Mattie, Ella,and Lindsey; brothers Richard and Linda Johnson, Lyn and Joan Johnson, David Johnson and Tommy Johnson; sisters Carolyn and Larry Davis, Faye and Larry Dulaney; several nieces and nephews, several special friends/family Ruth Drewery, Betty Savage, Cuyler Walters, Sebastian Walters, and Mary Clark. The family would also like to thank Doris Janeway and Libby from Clinch River Home Health, Dr. P. Bhandari with Summit Medical and all their staff, Dr. D. Thomas and Harriet Starsky with Knoxville Neurology and all their staff and Dr. Dimeo and staff of Oak ridge. We would also like to give an extra special thank you to Vaughns Pharmacy of Powell, Tennessee, this Pharmacy has always went above and beyond filling prescriptions, taking time to listen to every need we had and providing a Christian atmosphere. We would like to thank Caris Health Care (Christina, Amy and Dee) and everyone for all they have done for our mother along her journey that we have failed to mention, the list is very lengthy.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday March 22, 2016 at Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave, Knoxville, Tennessee 37921 with funeral service to follow at 7pm with Dr. Brian Trapp officiating. Family and friends will gather at Weaver Funeral Home on Wed March 23, 2016 at 12 noon to proceed in procession to Woodhaven Memorial Gardens, 160 Edgemoor Road, Claxton, Tennessee 37849 for a 1 pm graveside service.
