Janie Ealy

Janie Ealy, age 76, of Mascot, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She was a member of Tennessee Avenue Baptist Church. Janie was employed by Walmart for 15 years. Her most important job was being a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and will always be remembered as being their "Rock."

She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Ealy; parents, Samuel and Mattie Braden; grandson, Jason Campbell; sister, Geneva Johnson and brothers, Donald, Ernest, Fred, Frank and Lindsey.

Janie is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Jack Ealy; daughter, Pam King; son, Chris (Anita) Ealy; grandkids, Kayla Campbell, Erin Hurst; sisters, Frances Waddell, Mozella Wallace; brother, Clyde Braden; nieces; nephews; special friend, Joyce Ealy and her dog, Cocoa.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 from noon until 2:00 PM in the chapel of McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy., Knoxville, TN 37924. Family and friends will meet Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Roseberry Cemetery, 2920 Roseberry Rd. Mascot for a 2:00 PM Graveside Service officiated by Rev. Larry Day.
