Jeanette Crowe Mason

Jeanette Crowe Mason of Knoxville, TN passed peacefully at University of Tennessee Medical Center on Friday, February 24, 2023 after having thrived and enjoyed her life to the final moments surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her first husband, James A. Mason; her husband, Raymond Dickerson; her parents, brothers, and son. She is survived by her daughter, three sons, seven grandchildren, and multiple great grandchildren. Having traveled extensively, living in numerous cities on the East Coast with her husband, a career U.S. Navy chief petty officer, Jeanette flourished in every community she called home, but her heart was always most at home in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of Western North Carolina and East Tennessee, where she lived for over 50 years. Jeanette loved and treasured her extensive family and is fondly remembered as an adoring mother and grandmother. With lifelong friendships forged across the country, Jeanette’s absence will be sorely felt for years to come. Her family asks for your prayers and deeply appreciates your sympathy.
