His life bursted at the seams with travel and experiences never even imagined, but his legacy is one of humility, generosity and a love for Jesus Christ above all else.
Originally from Olive Hill, KY, born to Hubert and Geraldine, he was raised with a hard work ethic, fried bologna sandwiches and University of Kentucky basketball along with siblings, Danny, Phillip Michael (deceased), Diane, Stephen (deceased). Jerry went on to get a business degree from Morehead State University that led him to a lifelong career in management.
As a Regional Vice President, Jerry was a dedicated employee of Clayton Homes. He was a friend to many and a stranger to none finding something in common with anyone he met.
He is loved more than words can express by wife of 44 years, Connie and daughter, Megan who are so grateful for the support being shown, acts of service being rendered and prayers being prayed.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 6:45 PM at Sevier Heights Baptist Church, 3140 Maloney Road, Knoxville, TN 37920 with a Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 PM officiated by Dr. Tony Wilson and Tom Kilgore.
Committal service will be held Friday, January 23, 2026, with the location and time to be announced Monday, January 19, 2026.
