Cotton, Jimmie Harrison, of Madisonville, formerly of Knoxville, passed away at East Tennessee Health Care of Madisonville on Thursday, July 21, 2011. Jimmie retired from Palm Beach Company with 43 years of service. She was preceded in death by husband, Jay Cotton; parents, Charlie and Rosetta Kennedy Harrison; brother and sister, Reed and Reba Harrison; half-brothers and sisters: Roe Brackett, Eddie Bracket Shope, Wallace and Fred Harrison, Viola Harrison Turner, and Molly Harrison Deford. Survivors include sister, Annie Harrison Thompson, of Tellico Plains; sister-in-law, Ellen Harrison of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends on Monday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
