Joe was loved dearly by everyone that knew him, and spent his time well with those he loved. Along with being an avid bowler for over 50 years, he also enjoyed travelling and took trips whenever he could. He always took the opportunity to take a weekend excursion, whether it was a drive up to Gatlinburg to see the sights, or to see the beautiful fall mountains of the Smokies. Sometimes the trips were longer, like travelling out to Montana, or being invited to the Vietnam War Memorial flyover program. Joe proudly served his country in the US Air Force, as well as 6 years in the Air Force Reserves. Before retiring, he worked at Sparks Insurance branch in Pigeon Forge and took care of many clients. After retirement, Joe made sure to keep up with all of his dearest friends. Most mornings were spent at the Waffle House together with his buddies, and Saturday mornings were always spent at Buddy's getting breakfast with his crew. Joe will be missed dearly by all of those that knew him.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Josiah and Sara Nunnally, and his brother, Rick Nunnally.
He is survived by his wife Fran Nunnally; sons, Todd and Shawn Nunnally, and many nieces and nephews.
