SPC John Frederick Hargreaves

JOHN FREDERICK HARGREAVES age 21 of Knoxville, TN, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. John was currently serving in the U.S. Army and served in Afghanistan in the Arghandab River Valley from May 2011 to May 2012. He attended Trinity Chapel Church. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Fred and Esther McCuen. Survived by his loving parents, Paul and Mary Lynn Hargreaves; grandparents, Paul and Beverly Hargreaves; uncles and aunt, Randy Hargreaves and Gary and Ellen Hargreaves; cousins, Jacob, Jordan, Jonathan and Jamie Hargreaves; biological family, mother, Shanette Shannon; sister, Azia Parker; grandparents, Tim and Rita Shannon; uncles and aunts, Rodney and Sherry Shannon and Jason and Mindy Shannon; nephews, Bricen and Zaelon Parker. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Friday at Weaver Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday at Weaver’s Chapel with Pastor Steve Fatow officiating. Following the service, we will proceed to Oak Ridge Memorial Park for the interment where John will receive full military honors.
