John was my friend and my boss while in the Army. Good man and wow what a pilot. RIP John I think about all the crazy times we had. Miss you brother

My brother John was my best friend. I told him everything that was going on in my life. He taught me many things that I will never forget. He was always there for me and the family. He was the best big brother ever. I think about him all the time and he will live in my heart forever. 

I still think about John a lot and all the good times we had together!  His memory will live on!

So sorry for your loss have not seen John for many years we were college roommates before we went in the service ever time we would run into each other we would reminisce and say let's get together, sorry it did not happen my prayers are with you.

John will be missed dearly, he was a great man, glad me and Bud got to no him.He always kept us laughing no matter how bad he felt, Rest in peace John we will miss you

John was responsible for raising funds through the PTA in his lead role as President for a new handicapped-accessible playground at the Fort Sanders educational developmental school.  Many of us parents of students, who attended the school, admired his tireless work and management abilities to achieve this challenge.  He was a friend to many.  I will miss him.  My sympathies to his family and friends.  Bless you, John.

John:  You were my friend.  You were there for me for such a very rough time in my life.  Though I don't think you understood till many years later and dealing with your very own loss of Sarah.   You later told me you understood.  I have been so down with hearing this terrible news.  And I think it has brought back memories I chose not to really deal with.  Your birthday was the 10th and Jack's was 11th. Birthdays you guys shared together.  This brings back so many memories that we all have shared together.  I will miss your visits over the Christmas Holidays to come by and have your glass of Scotch out of your gift set.  I guess there was a reason you would never take it home after all these years.  It was your Christmas gift from me to you.  It has always been here for you.  Bryan and I will have a glass for you if that is ok when we feel the time is right.  We will drink it in your honor.  You know days at work I loved to hate you and later hated not to love you.  You Sir, were one strange uniquely opinionated, outspoken, and oh so sweet natured when you peeled the rough away.  I love you dearly and I owed you a debt that can't ever be paid.  JamieLee Kelly Morgan is a better person for your part in her upbringing.  A year at John Stone's home made a diffference in her life.  A year I was away in Iraq 2009 to 2010 with the 1-230th CAV REGT.  You made such a difference in her life and you made such a difference in mine.  We all love you.  And thank you from the bottom of my heart.  You will be missed my friend.
