Juanita "Nita" Allison

JUANITA “NITA” ALLISON age 83 of the Solway Community, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 12, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother (Nina). Member of Solway Church of God for over 70 years and taught Sunday School to many Children for Jesus. Preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, Elmer Ollawee “E.O.” Allison; son-in-law, Robert M. Long; grandson, Aaron R. Long; great-grandson, Easton Ollawee Long; parents, Tom and Sarah Hunt; sister Dot Castleberry and brother Jack Hunt. She is survived by son, Brad (Leisa) Allison; daughter, Vickie Long (Ken) Lucterhand; daughter-in-law, Janice Harmon; grandchildren, Daron (Amanda) Long, Amanda (Marshall) West, Tarah (Hayes) Durliat, Sarah (Derek) Allison; great-grandchildren, Allison (Alli), Jared, Ella Grace, Jackson, Pruitt, Chance, Hayden, Jena, and Adelia; brothers, Howard, Ken and Rick Hunt; several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews; special sister, Ginny Burnett. A special thanks to the Staff at Autumn Care in Karns.

The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Saturday at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 7 pm. Rev. Jeremy Daniels officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 am Sunday at Solway Church of God Cemetery for an 1 pm interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Solway Church of God Children’s Sunday School.
