Juanita Faye (Hobbs) Ford, age 84 met her savior at 2:00 AM on Monday, April 10, 2023, after a short scrap with a hard illness. Juanita left an adoring family, who was convinced she would live forever, and is now reunited with her mother, father, siblings, and other loved ones in Heaven. A lifelong resident of Appalachia, Juanita dedicated her life to her family, and her working years to the Kerbela Shriner's Temple and the Shriner's Hospitals for Children. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and a fierce love for her family. Her impact upon the lives of her family and her friends is indelible, and she will be cherished until we are united once again.
Juanita is survived by her sweetheart, and husband of 67 years, Howard Cecil Ford, Jr.,; their children, Janet Ford, Sharon Ford Wooliver, Randy Ford and Connie; her siblings; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who dearly love and will miss their mamaw.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 - 6:00 PM Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM, Rev. Dana Fachman officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children in Juanita's honor.
