Juanita Kaye Sherrod

Juanita Kaye Sherrod, age 80, of Strawberry Plains, Tennessee went to be with The Lord on Friday, October 10, 2025. She was a graduate of Carter High School and went on to obtain her Associate's Degree from Tennessee School of Beauty. Juanita was a longtime member of Lyons Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, trips to the beach, and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Gertie Wilhite; daughter, Lisa Kaye; 3 sisters; and 2 brothers.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Sherrod; daughter, Karen Collier (Ron); son, Jamie Sherrod; grandchildren: Cruze (Sharlene), Courtlyn, Cierra, and Lucas; several great-grandchildren; close niece, Vonette; special cousin and friend, Judy McCaleb, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and good friends.

Family will receive Friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Saturday, October 18, 2025 with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 pm at Lyons Creek Baptist Church.
