
Katherine Ann Clevenger, 76, of Knoxville, Tennessee, was called home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, passing peacefully in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by the warmth and love of her devoted family.
A woman of deep Christian faith, Kathy lived her life with grace, kindness, and an open heart that touched all who knew her. Her gentle spirit and compassionate nature were reflected in her profound love for all of God's creatures, great and small. Among her many cherished companions, her beloved dog Cash held an especially dear place in her heart. The two were truly inseparable, sharing a bond of unconditional love and loyal friendship that brought her immeasurable joy.
In her quieter moments, Kathy found simple pleasure in the things she loved most—settling in to watch her favorite old western movies, where heroes rode tall and justice always prevailed. These cherished pastimes brought her comfort and happiness throughout her life.
Kathy's memory will forever remain a blessing to those who loved her, and her legacy of kindness, faith, and compassion will continue to inspire all whose lives she touched.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Callie Clevenger; son, Daniel Erric Clevenger.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her dedicated son, Danny (Kim) Clevenger, five grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. At the request of Kathy there will be no public services.
