She is preceded in death by her mother, Bea Phillips; and father, Malcolm Phillips.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband of nearly 20 years, Joseph "Joe" Troutt; brothers-in-law, Donnie Rupe and Richard Rupe (Laura); brother, David Phillips (Carol); niece, Jenny Phillips; and special pets, Tiger and Bo.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 6:00 PM Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920, with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 PM, Rev. Charlie Bernard officiating.
