Kathy Helen Chance

Kathy H. Chance, age 61, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully at home September 1, 2015. Kathy loved many things, but nothing more than her family and making people laugh. She also loved sunrises and sunsets on the beach, and cooking for the family she loved so much. She will be greatly missed by all. Preceded in death by parents, Andrew Weaver and Helen Huffaker; and brothers, Gary and Chris Huffaker. Survived by sons, Shannon Fleming (Sandy), Joshua Choate (Christie) and Justin Choate; brothers, Tony Hurst (Felicia), Larry Huffaker (Nancy); granddaughter, Brittany Denson and three grandchildren; one great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Thursday, September 3, 2015 at First Apostolic Church of Knoxville, Pleasant Ridge Road from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Bishop Billy McCool officiating. Interment services will be Friday, September 4, 2015 at New Gray Cemetery on Western Ave. at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be, Michael Huffaker, Clayton Hurst , Daniel Denson, Dwight Goodin, James Faulkner, and David Burnett.
