Born on August 7, 1944, in Napoleonville, Louisiana, Ken was the son of the late Alma Pauline Simoneaux St Germain and Dolese Willie St Germain. He carried the warmth and deep-rooted spirit of his Louisiana heritage throughout his life, always cheering on LSU and the Saints, as well as, enjoying authentic seafood.
Ken proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1968. He was stationed in the Aleutian Islands, Alaska. Following his military service, he pursued higher education, earning his accounting degree from Oglethorpe University. This education paved the way for a distinguished and dedicated career as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where he served with honor and commitment for many years.
Outside of his professional life, Ken embraced an active lifestyle and had a profound love for the outdoors. He was an avid runner and cyclist, always seeking out the next challenge on the road or trail. His true relaxation, however, was found at the beach, where he loved walks on the beach, boating and fishing.
Above all, Ken was a devoted family man. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Cynthia, with whom he shared 26 great years of his life. He also leaves behind his daughter, Stephanie Leiby (Chad), son, Nicholas Joseph, granddaughter, Renee St Germain (Tyler), and great-granddaughter, Madeline St Germain-Simmons. He is also survived by his faithful companion and "the best dog in the world," Bentley, as well as many cherished nieces and nephews in Louisiana.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Alma and Dolese St Germain; his sisters, Betty McLuckie and Phyllis Montalbano; and his son, Daniel Joseph.
He will be remembered for his dedication, his quiet strength, generous spirit and the joyful times spent with family and friends.
Receiving of friends and family will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025 at 4 pm with a funeral service to follow at 7pm. Ken will be laid to rest at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
