Kenneth Arvlee Tinsley, Sr.,age 84, of South Knoxville, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 29, 2018. He was a member of Valley View Baptist Church, Tarklin Valley Road and worked as a mechanic at Power Equipment Company. Kenneth enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and was a founding member of Bucks and Boars Hunting Club. He gave his time generously to everyone. He loved his family unconditionally. All who knew him knew him to be humble and kind. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents Henry Arvlee and Mildred Pauline Tinsley; wife Anna Jean Tinsley; wife Janet Paulette Tinsley; wife Gladys Badgett; and son Jerry Lynn Tinsley. He is survived by children Kenneth Jr. (Donna) Tinsley; Paula (Darrell) Mikels; Angela (Mike) Sanders; Lisa (Johnny) Crisp; Kristy (Doug) Pressley; Ryne (Jackie) Tinsley, and David Tinsley; grandchildren: Darrin, Casey, Misty, Jeremy, Clint, Nathan, Derek, Dylan, Lexie, Sutiea, Mercedes, Gabe, Jessica, Jennifer, Brittany, Breana, and Nisa; sisters Mary Cupp and Wanda (Winford) Galyon; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and stepson Larry Smith. Family will receive friends Monday, April 2, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway with the funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will meet at Valley View Baptist Church, Tarklin Valley Road Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM for the interment. Pallbearers will be grandsons Darrin Mikels, Jeremy Tinsley, Clint and Nathan Crisp, Dylan Sanders, Mike Krein and Kevin Williams. Honorary pallbearer will be Roy Mikels.
