Larry Duane Chandler

Larry Chandler age 73 of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017. Minister of The Church of God of The Union Assembly for 45 years. He spent his life in service of the Lord as a minister in the Church of God of The Union Assembly. Pastored many churches and served as State Overseers and on the Board of Elders. Traveled many miles during his ministry. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 45 years, Carolyn Chandler. He leaves behind daughters and sons in-law, Angela and Junior Godsey and Marene and Jimmy Webb; grandchildren, Tiffany, Jordan, Justin, Kaley and Natalie; great-grandchildren, Layla, Lincoln and Lydia; brothers, Steve (Rita) Chandler, Michael (Jama) Chandler, Freddie and Tony Chandler; sisters, Rose (Eddie) Jenkins and Susan and many nieces and nephews; host of extended family , including his church family; countless friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 3rd from 1-4 PM at The Keith Ave. Church of God of The Union Assembly. Funeral service will be Sunday, June 4th at 2 PM in the sanctuary, following the service, family and friends will proceed to Sherwood Memorial Gardens for interment.
