LILLIAN H. SCOGGINS age 92 of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Hillcrest North Nursing Home. She was a member of Cumberland Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter; son, Danny; 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Survived by grandsons, Scott and Shane (Patricia) Scoggins; great-granddaughters, Anna and Abby, and Courtney, Olivia, and Kate Scoggins; sister, Ophelia Blake; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 2-4 pm Saturday at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 4 pm. Dr. Kerry Bond officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:15 am Monday at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier Hwy. for a 9:30 interment.
