Linda Sue (Weston) Sampson

Linda Sue Weston Sampson, age 76, currently of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on February 6, 2025. Linda was born on July 18, 1948 in Nashville, Tennessee. She spent most of her life in the middle Tennessee area. Her Christian faith extended into her career. She worked for the United Methodist Publishing House and their devotional publication, The Upper Room. Linda was fond of butterflies and angels, symbols of her spiritual beliefs. She enjoyed listening to music and singing. Linda was a loyal and devoted friend to many. She always had a listening ear and was a trustworthy confidante to her friends and family.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Henry Joseph Weston, Sr. and Beatrice Elliott Weston Cardell, and brother Henry Joseph Weston, Jr. She is survived by her brother William (Sandra) Weston, daughters Gretchen (David) Thomson, and Amanda (Greg) Hieronimus, and grandchildren James Hieronimus, Tabitha Thomson, and Joseph Thomson.

Linda was known to her grandchildren as Mimi. She loved being near family and keeping up with their activities. She was loved by many friends and family and will be greatly missed.

The family will host a Celebration of Life for Linda on March 15th, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM in the Chapel at Berry Highland West Funeral Home, 9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37932
