Lowell Dean Crumley, 89, passed away on May 17, 2026, born December 18, 1936. He will be remembered as a beloved and devoted husband, father, and family man whose steady loyalty and faithful spirit shaped the lives of those who knew him. His courage was evident not only in what he did, but in the quiet constancy with which he met life’s responsibilities and cared for others.
Lowell served in the U.S. Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Bon Homme Richard, a chapter of his life that reflected both bravery and duty. He later built a distinguished career with 3M Company that spanned 37 years, retiring as a district service manager responsible for 17 states—work that spoke to his dedication, dependability, and steadfast commitment to doing things well.
For 64 years, Lowell shared a marriage marked by enduring devotion with his loving wife, Nedalene B. Crumley. At the time of his passing, they were living together in Flowery Branch, GA, a home grounded in love and faithfulness.
Lowell’s faith was a guiding presence throughout his life. He attended the South Knoxville Church of God for many years, where he also taught Sunday school, offering his time and care with the same loyal, steady heart that defined him in every part of life.
Lowell was preceded in death by his father, Reverend Roy Crumley; his mother, Mary Crumley; his brother, Robert J. Crumley; and his sister, Patsy L. Crumley Correia. He is survived by his wife, Nedalene B. Crumley; his daughter, Tammy Hall; Two Granddaughters, Several Nieces and Nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on May 22, 2026, at Berry Highland South, 9010 E Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for a donation to be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Lowell.
