Loy Stephen Barker passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, October 31, 2025 at the age of 73. He leaves behind his loving wife, Connie Barker and children, Stephen Barker, Melanie Puplis and Jessica Pham. He was born in Alcoa, TN on January 30, 1952. His childhood in Rock Gardens instilled a lifelong passion for music and basketball, and he loved to speak about it with anyone who would listen. Steve and Connie first met and shared their love of life throughout their long happy marriage of 46 years. The family will receive friends 4-6 pm Wednesday at Weaver Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 pm Thursday at Lynch Bethel Cemetery for a 2 pm Graveside Service. Everyone is welcome.
