It has been a year and I still miss Margaret immensely.  She and I had grown very close during the last 25 years. She was my dearest friend as well as my Aunt.  I know she is with our Heavenly Father waiting to meet us when Jesus calls us home.

Mother was a neighbor and friend with Maragret and Bill.  They took such good care of mother after dad died and would call me with concerns.  I only just learned of her death and am very sorry fot your loss and share your sadness.  She will always have a fond place in my memories.

Though there is no mention of Aunt Margarets first husband, Woodrow Lay, a well known illustrator with the Sentinal, his side of Aunt Margarets family will miss her terribly as well. She was the most gracious and poised lady imaginable and a wonderful friend even after Uncle Woody's death. Though we were seperated by many miles , it was a grand reunion when we were able to reunite. We loved her and will miss her. Our condolences to Bill and the family.

Bill, I am so sorry for your loss and mine as well, she was a wonderful person and my favorite relative. I was unaware she was ill and did not know she passed until Gary my brother saw it in the paper as we were not called. I hope you are holding up ok and you are in my prayers.

Mr. Gary and family,  I'm so sorry to hear of Margaret's passing.  she was such a wonderful lady.  I remember meeting her for the first time at an art department function more years ago than I care to remember.  She came up and introduced herself and in the next few minutes it was like we'd known each other forever.  Margaret was truly beautiful on the inside and out.  Heaven has a new angel and we're all a little better off for having known her.

Mrs. Gary was a dear friend of my mother and father, Calvin and Ellen Jean Taylor. She coordinated my wedding, which was so beautiful (40 years ago). I saw Mrs. Gary last spring at the Senior Center, and we both were so glad to see one another. She was such a kind lady. I will miss her.
