Born October 13, 1948 in Knoxville Tennessee, the daughter of Roy S and Ina Grace (Ownby) Kear. Margie graduated from West High School in 1966. Following graduation she was an inspector for a local seatbelt company. For the past 36 years Margie was a very well respected Avon representative. On March 21, 1998 Margie married Cecil Mitchell in Spring City Tennessee. They recently celebrated 24 wonderful years of marriage. Margie was a loyal member of Marble City Baptist church. If Margie wasn’t watching Hallmark, she would be making handmade cards and scrapbooks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Jerry, and Jackie Ray and her sister Beronica Sue Cagle. Surviving in addition to her husband Cecil Mitchell, is her Son Bryan Pillion, Step-son Jeff Mitchell, and step-daughter Stephanie Seaver, and step-grandchildren Chloe and Noah. One sister Linda Lambert, and two Brothers Johnny and Jeff Kear. Along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation for Marjorie will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Weaver Funeral Home, 5815 Western Ave, Knoxville, TN 37921 with service to follow at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 AM Friday at East Tennessee Veterans’ Cemetery on Gov. John Sevier Hwy. for a 10:00 AM interment service.
