MARVIN “JOHNNY” BEGLEY age 75 of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016. Retired from the Finance Department Of City of Knoxville. Longtime member and deacon of Cumberland Baptist Church/Wallace Memorial. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Preceded in death by parents, T.T. and Hazel Begley; brothers, Don and Ron Begley. Survived by wife of 52 years, Polly Begley; daughter, Kim (Andy) Cotten; grandchildren, Travis (Amanda) Cotten; great-granddaughter, Macie Cotten; sister, Jean Meadows; several nieces and nephews. A special thanks to ICU Physicians Medical and Ft. Sanders Select Care. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 7 pm. Reverends Kent Williams and Kerry Bond officiating. Family and friends will meet at 11:15 AM Tuesday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery for an 11:30 am interment.
