Nathan John Hymel, age 45, of Knoxville was born March 16, 1976, in Arlington Texas and passed away Friday, August 13, 2021. He graduated from Midwestern State University, Wichita Falls, Texas with a double major in Finance and International Business. Nathan worked in banking, sales and operations. Nathan always loved the water. He was a member of his high school and college swim teams and enjoyed spending time on his boat on the Tennessee River. He died too young, but he lived a full life in his 45 years. Nathan is survived by parents, Clyde and Charlene Hymel of Lubbock, Texas; the love of his life, his daughter Sophia of Charlotte, North Carolina; sister, Nancy (Michael) Donald of Fort Worth, Texas; brother, Norman (Amy) Hymel of Lubbock, Texas; fiancé, Andrea Harris of Knoxville Tennessee; 5 nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday September 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, Tennessee. Another Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at St. Rita Catholic Church, 5550 East Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth, Texas.
