Olean S. Robinson

June Olean Shaw Robinson, 92 of Knoxville, TN went to her Heavenly home on Friday, July 11, 2025. She was raised in Walker County, Alabama by her parents Reverend Clayton and Opal Shaw. She was a member of Central Baptist Bearden Church in Knoxville, TN for many years. Olean married her childhood sweetheart, Buford "Robbie" Robinson, at the age of 16, and they were married for 56 years. Olean loved the Lord, her family, and her friends. Many can agree that Olean never met a stranger.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Clayton and Opal Shaw, and her husband, Buford "Robbie" Robinson.

She is survived by her children, Fred Robinson (wife Jean), Elaine Wine (husband Reggie), and her grandchildren, Amanda Whelchel (husband Noel), Meredith Trotter (husband Jon), Regina Wine-Nash (husband Chris), numerous grandchildren, and her sister, LaMuriel Smothers, who she was very close to and loved dearly. The family of Olean Robinson are so thankful for all of the caregivers who lovingly cared for Olean, especially James with Smokey Mountain Hospice, Suzanne Lindsey, and Virginia Smothers.

A visitation will be held at Berry Highland South Funeral Home, 9010 E. Simpson Rd., Knoxville TN 37920 on Thursday, July 17, 2025, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. and a funeral service immediately following at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend Jim Clayton officiating.
