Ova Charlene Brewster Rickman

Charlene O. Rickman, 82 of Knoxville, TN went to be with her heavenly Father and to be reunited with her loving husband of 49 years Billy on July 30, 2011. She was preceded in death by her son Billy Harrison Jr, parents Archie and Cora Brewster, brothers Pete & Ernest Brewster and sister Marcey Brewster. She was an active member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church. She is survived by a sister Lesta Reynolds and her son Greg, a brother Jimmy Brewster and his wife Lou, daughters Sandy Thompkins and late husband Billy Thompkins(deceased), Sherry Parker and close friend Scott Davis, Sonya Moyers and her husband Terry, sons Ron Rickman and his wife Carol, Mike and his wife Lisa, Norman and his wife Glenda. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and a special niece Mickey Tippens and her husband Steve Tippens along with a host of other nieces and nephews and a family that will forever remember her wisdom, care and love. “We are confident and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord” 2 Corinthians 5:8. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Monday August 1st at Berry Funeral Chapel. The funeral will follow at 8:00pm and will be officiated by Pastor Jerry Crye.
