Patricia Ernestine “Ernie” Walker (Weishaupt) passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at home with her daughter by her side. She was born July 29, 1940 in Knoxville, TN to John U. and Bertha (Ellison) Weishaupt.
She loved crafting, cross-stitch, gardening scrapbooking and quilting. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Walker and her wife Christa Walker; sisters, Jonnie Love and Lauvanne Childress; brother, John “Bud” U. Weishaupt, Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband of 49 years, Harold E. Walker.
Receiving of friends will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 11am at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home with a service to follow at 12 noon. A graveside will be held at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery at 1pm.
