Patricia (Patsy) R. McCroskey, age 88, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021. She was a member of Second United Methodist Church in Knoxville. Patsy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and her greatest joy was caring for her family. She retired from Knox County Schools. She was preceded by her parents; husband, Kenneth McCroskey; brother, Wiley Samuel King. Patsy is survived by daughters, Brenda (Kenneth) Smith, Rosalind Rhodes and Heather McKinney (Phil Gardial); son, Frank McCroskey; 4 grandchildren, Robin (Matthew) Millsaps, Kenny Smith, Parker (Christina) McCroskey and Alex (Kelsey) McKinney; great-grandson, Brandon Jones; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Second United Methodist Church, 1524 Western Ave, Knoxville from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm. A service will follow at 6:30 pm, with Rev. Charla Sherbakoff officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday, June 18, 2021 at Woodlawn Cemetery for a 1:00 pm interment.
