Patsy J. Price

Price, Patsy J., age 73, of Powell, passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 at Tennova North Hospital. She was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution; The Daughters of the Confederacy; and a member of the Mitchell, Yancey, and Unicoi County Genealogy Societies. She was the author of "The Family Record". Patsy was preceded in death by her husband and high school sweetheart, James E. Price; father David Ledford, and Great-grandson, Landon Lewis. Survived by mother, Gladys Ledford; sons and daughters, Steve (Tausha) Price, Becky Harbin, Doug (SaDonna) Price, Jennifer Joyner; grandchildren, Katie Lewis, Lauren Price, Casey Collins, Bailey Dugger, Savannah Price, Garrison Price, and Jameson Joyner; brother, David Ledford, and sister, Annette Rummel. Her circle of friends and family whom she met through her genealogy research were all very special to her, too numerous to list. Special gratitude to her dear friend, Cindy Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends Monday, December 2, 2013 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Weaver Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Rob Collins officiating. Family and friends will go in procession to Bells Campground Cemetery for the graveside services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to your charity of choice.
