Peggy Jane Webber

Webber, Peggy Smith, age 88, of Knoxville, left to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 16, 2011. She was a member of South Knoxville Church of Christ. She was born in McMinneville, TN and came to Knoxville as a young woman to work at TVA. She retired from John Owenby. Preceded in death by parents, Jack Tilghman and Blanche Higginbotham; husband, Robert Glenn Webber. Survivors include daughter, Montie Downs and husband, John Downs; grandchildren, Rob Garrison, Monieka Nixon (David), Damaris Morgan (Nick), all of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Addyson and Tate Morgan; brother-in-law, Jack Webber (Pat); many cousins and friends. Peggy will always be remembered as an amazing cook and feminine lady. We love you and will greatly miss you. Family will receive friends Tuesday, January 18, 2011 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with a service to follow. Geoff Mabe and Tom Miller will be officiating. Interment will take place Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the South Knoxville Church of Christ Missions Fund.
