Raymond Lee Cole went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. Raymond honorably served his country in the Marine Corp in Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart and 2 Gold Stars. Preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Leann Cole; parents, Douglas Eugene and Anna Grace Cole; brothers, Gerald and Phillip Cole. Prayer for those left behind, daughter, Shelby Renee Buttry; grandchildren, Gabriel Edward Buttry and wife, Brooklyn Buttry, Sydney, Symerly, Jordan and Taylor; great-grandchildren, Oaklynn and Wrigley Buttry; brother and sister-in-law, Douglas Eugene Cole, Jr. and Joyce Gail Cole; sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia Elaine McMahan and Donnie McMahan, Naomi Jane McMahan and James Harley McMahan. Family and friends will meet at 12:15 pm Monday Nov. 8th at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery for a 12:30 pm Military Service.
