Dianna Reynolds passed away June 15, 2025, in St. Louis, MO, though East Tennessee was home. She is preceded in death by her best friend and childhood sweetheart, Ralph, to whom she was married for over 40 years, and her parents, William and Kathleen Young, and in-laws Ralph and Ella Mae Reynolds. She is survived by children Jenise (Tom) Woolf, Christy (Fred) Yahr, and Bill (Jennifer) Reynolds. Diane is also survived by her devoted brother Bill (Janet) Young and his family as well as the many cousins she adored.
Diane worked at Home Federal Credit Union in Knoxville as an Assistant Vice President, a job she loved, and with a work family that she loved even more. Her favorite title, however, was Grandma to John, Sam, Christy, Jake, Ethan, Delton, Emily, and Jack, and she recently became Great grandma to Cannon. Two new additions are joining our family in August.
Ralph and Diane grew up attending Sevier Heights Baptist Church, and later served an outreach Sunday School class at Cagle Terrace Apartments through their long-time membership at Central Baptist Church of Bearden. They were greatly blessed though the many friends they made at Cagle Terrace, and considered this their calling. During her later years in St. Louis, Diane attended and volunteered at Waymakers Chapel for the Exceptional, where she became a surrogate grandma to many members. Through her years of service and generous spirit, Diane shared the love of Christ, especially to those least among us.
Diane’s family will gather at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home Friday, June 20, 2025 beginning at 11:00 with a service at 12:30. Following the service, friends and family are invited to Central Baptist Church of Bearden (North Entrance to Fellowship Hall) to celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Waymakers Chapel for the Exceptional – MAKING A WAY FOR OVER 50 YEARS! www.waymakerschapel.org
